Three things worth knowing before you calculate
Semester GPA uses grade points and course credits. Final grade uses the share of the course that each assignment or exam counts toward. Percent change compares a new number with an old one. They’re all weighted or proportional ideas, but you shouldn’t mix them up.
Schools can use different letter-grade point values, grading scales, credit rules, and exam requirements. Each calculator notes its assumptions so the number can help you ask the right question, rather than pretending it’s your school’s official gradebook.
